About Origin
Fazenda Sertão is third generation family tradition farm in Carmo de Minas Brazil with more than 100 years of coffee tradition. It is a 850-hectare farm with 450 hectares planted in coffee trees of several varieties, including Red and Yellow Bourbon, Yellow Catucai, and Yellow Catuai.
The topography is rugged, and they practice selective harvesting which results in better coffee quality. Sertão has earned the highest quality score by the Brazilian Association of Special Coffees.
The farm also grows bananas and corn and is used to raise dairy livestock.
