Kebede Genale's farm is located in the Buku subregion of Hambela, which is within the Guji Zone of Ethiopia's Oromia Region. Habela's Kebede coffee is renowned for its unique flavor profile.
The coffee is grown at a high altitude of 2,200 meters above sea level. High altitude cultivation contributes to a slower maturation of the coffee cherry, resulting in a denser bean with more complex flavors.
